Lexi and Erin, both captains of the Junior High team, make one heck of a combination. Lexi is a superb natural athlete and didn't even pick up a catcher's mitt before the last season on our summer recreation league. This year, she started at catcher for the middle school team. WOW, that is all I can say about that! She is amazing. I don't know of any senior athlete with reflexes as quick as Lexi. She also pitches and plays every position on the field. The hardest decision for head coach, Curt DeSchambeau is to decide where she will be the most valuable in any given game.
